Who We Are

Founded by Andrea Vytlacil and Giles St. Clair, Beyond Bloom grew from a shared love of the botanical world and a desire to bring nature’s beauty into people’s lives. Andrea — a horticulturist and planting designer with over two decades of experience — lends her distinctive creative touch, blending timeless elegance with a fresh, contemporary eye. Giles brings his expertise in business, design, and marketing, ensuring each arrangement is not only beautifully made but also thoughtfully presented for those who will most appreciate it.

Our Craft

Andrea creates each bunch in her signature style — abundant yet unforced — combining graceful textures, considered colour tones, and seasonal foliage. Whether you choose a soft, gentle palette or a bold, vivid scheme, every arrangement reflects the best of what the season offers.

We work closely with nature’s rhythms, selecting stems and foliage that capture the essence of each time of year, ensuring every bunch feels fresh, authentic, and beautifully in tune with its season.

Location & Inspiration

Situated on the north edge of Dartmoor, just outside Chagford, we are surrounded by a landscape of wild moorland, rolling fields, and a rich botanical tapestry that inspires our work every day. Our designs are rooted in the beauty of the seasons here in Devon, yet they are also enriched by carefully selected blooms from further afield.

We take pride in sourcing from trusted local growers whenever possible, supporting the regional flower-farming community and ensuring exceptional freshness. Many of our stems come directly from our own cutting garden, set within our three-acre smallholding, where we grow an ever-changing selection of seasonal flowers and foliage in line with our colour-tone palettes.

To complement our local harvests, we also source from specialist growers abroad, allowing us to create arrangements that balance the charm of the Devon countryside with the beauty of the wider botanical world. This thoughtful blend of home-grown, locally sourced, and internationally selected blooms ensures every bunch feels both familiar and distinctive — grounded in our surroundings yet touched by global inspiration.
