How to care for fresh flowers at home
At Beyond Bloom, we select seasonal flowers for their beauty and freshness. Some are grown locally; others come from trusted, quality-focused growers.Flowers are living things, so home care really matters. Follow these steps to keep flowers fresh and lasting.
When Your Flowers Arrive
Unwrap and let them breathe
Remove the wrapping as soon as possible so your flowers can breathe and recover from transport.
Trim the stems
Use sharp scissors or secateurs to trim2–3 cm from each stem at a 45-degree anglebefore placing them in water. This lets flowers absorb water and stay fresh.Tip:Re-cut stems every 2–3 days.
Water & Vase Care
Always use a clean vase.
A clean vase keeps flowers fresh. Bacteria make flowers fade early. Wash the vase with warm, soapy water.
Fresh water matters
Fill your vase with cool water and add flower food if you have it.
- Change the water every two days.
- Top up daily if needed.
- Add new flower food each time you change the water.
